Welcome to the official PELUM Tanzania website PELUM-Tanzania
(PTz) is a network of Civil Society Organizations (NGOs)
who are working with Small holder farmers and livestock
keepers on sustainable development in rural areas of
Tanzania.
PELUM –Tanzania is registered as an NGO by the Vice
President’s Office with registration No. 1978 under NGO
Act of 2002.Currently PELUM-Tanzania is made up of 35
Member Organizations, and collaborates with many
partners.
Objectives
- Promoting Sustainable Ecological Land Use Management
Provide top quality services to Member Organizations in
form of quality capacity building programmes, lobbying
and advocacy, networking, documentation and
communication services, gender, governance, HIV/AIDS,
global climatic change and other cross cutting issues in
the field of land use management and ensure that such
service meet MOs’ and other stakeholders’ demands.
- Organizational and Institutional Development
Provide excellent support services to MO’s by building
capacity of Country Office in terms of staff and board
members training, institutional and organizational
development in areas related to ecological land use
management. |
